Disney Orlando through the years have expanded the flower and garden festival this year for the first time they added 12 food pavilions for your enjoyment. Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival is going on NOW at Walt Disney World. This festival runs from March 4th to May 17th, 2015. Experience beautiful Disney Orlando inspired topiary displays featuring Anna and Elsa, Mickey and Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale, Miss Piggy, Buzz Lightyear, Mater and Lightening McQueen, Phineas and Ferb, Bambi, Peter Pan and Captain Hook, Aurora and Prince Phillip, Beauty and the Beast, Woody, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Lady and the Tramp, Mufasa, Pumbaa, Rafiki, Sarabi, Simba and Timon, Cinderella and Prince Charming, and much more! There are also 12 food pavilions that allow you to taste delicious cuisines from all over the world. The festival’s newest addition to their spectacular outdoor kitchens is Botanas Botánico, with dishes such as Seafood ceviche and Coconut tres leches! Make sure to try some of the other pavilions, like Florida Fresh in Germany (which includes a watermelon salad with pickled onions, shrimp and stone ground grits, and a Florida blueberry and lemon curd tart) and Barbecue and Brews in America (featuring pulled pig sliders with coleslaw, Beef brisket burnt ends hash with white cheddar fondue and pickled jalapeños, smoked debreziner sausage with house-made kraut and mustard, and a bacon cupcake with maple frosting and pretzel crunch). Also at Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival are Fun Fresh Weekends. Each weekend of the festival will feature a different band/artist, as well as gardening tips and tricks! Groups such as En Vogue, Starship, The Village People, and The Guess Who will be performing! Availability for certain things at the festival will be limited.
